Crewmates - Kill All (Impostor) [Extra Quality]
Impostors use this ability for killing Crewmates, turning them into ghosts (or ending the game, if the Crewmates no longer have a voting majority as a result). The kill cooldown ranges from 10 to 60 seconds, depending on the game options. Upon spawning in for the first time in the match, The Impostor's kill cooldown starts at 10 seconds from the beginning of the game. After an emergency meeting or The Impostor killing a character, the cooldown will change to that of the in-game options. The kill distance may be short, medium, or long, depending on the game's options. However, the kill cooldown pauses when The Impostor is in a vent and will only resume when exiting the vent.
Crewmates - Kill All (Impostor)
While killing someone, The Impostor will teleport towards the target, slicing their body in half and leaving only a bone sticking out. The now-dead Crewmate will become a dead body, which Impostors or other Crewmates can report. Dead bodies will remain on the map until an emergency meeting is called, either by reporting a body or using the emergency button.
Kill cannot bypass through walls or obstructions, as it works for a given distance in a straight line of sight, such that if there is an object between the Crewmate and Impostor, the kill option will be deactivated. Some objects do not count towards this such as doors.
When An Impostor comes close to a Crewmate, a red outline marks the victim. The distance from which the red line starts depends on the options. When pressing the kill button, the victim's body is split in the middle accompanied by a blood splatter, with the entire upper half disappearing, and the dead body wobbles to the ground, with a single bone sticking out. This is the time for The Impostor to flee, hide in a vent, or report the body to try to accuse and eject Crewmates or feign innocence. Impostors cannot kill other Impostors.
In the Crewmate's point of view, intense violin music starts to play while a short animation flashes on the screen, which consists of one of five ways An Impostor can kill the victim: snapping the victim's neck, stabbing them with a knife or a pointed tongue, punching and shooting them with a gun, or shooting a laser which incinerates their head (only if The Impostor has the Right Hand Man skin equipped, in which case this animation will show and not any of the others). Regardless of which animation shows, their body will show up split in the middle, exposing their bone on any other player's view and turning the Crewmate into a ghost. The controlled character cannot be killed in Freeplay.

Number1-3 (depending on host settings)The Impostor is one of the two primary roles in Among Us. Their goal is to kill the majority of the Crewmates or cause a critical Sabotage that the Crewmates fail to fix to win.
All Impostors cannot complete any tasks; however, they are given a fake task list as general guidance on feigning a Crewmate's behavior and blending in with them. Additionally, Impostors have the ability to Sabotage to force Crewmates to resolve issues, with some killing all Crewmates if not resolved in time. This ability can be used in many different ways, such as luring Crewmates away from a dead body or concealing a kill.
Impostors primarily eliminate Crewmates through a combination of killing them during gameplay and manipulating or confusing the Crew into ejecting innocent players. Crewmates leaving, disconnecting, or being kicked from the game also contribute towards this goal.
If there are still other Impostors remaining after one is ejected, that Impostor will become a ghost. However, if no Impostors remain alive, the Crew wins immediately. Ghost impostors can still Sabotage the map to help their fellow Impostors win, but they cannot kill, talk with other living Impostors, vent, or vote.
In the view of An Impostor, when killing someone, the player's body is broken in half, where after a few seconds they fall on the ground, exposing their bone. As the kill occurs, The Impostor will teleport to the player in a flurry of gray scribbles, and the body will collapse after a few seconds. In the Crewmate victim's view, while their body falls to the ground, an animation is shown which can appear in different ways: either the Crewmate is shot, stabbed several times, impaled by The Impostor's tongue, has their neck snapped, or is shot by The Impostor's laser (the last animation will only play if The Impostor is wearing the Right Hand Man skin).
Killing also forces The Impostor to move instantaneously to the Crewmate's location, essentially teleporting there, leaving a faint trail of their presence in their previous location. The teleport distance will vary with the kill range in Options.
Impostors can hide in vents. Vents allow Impostors to either hide or quickly move around the map. The Impostor can use a vent when close enough to any one nearby. However, hiding in a vent pauses both kill and Sabotage cooldowns until The Impostor exits the vent. The Admin map can still detect Impostors hiding in a room's vents.
The Impostor is also known as the Seeker in the Hide n Seek game mode. Their goal is to kill all of the Crewmates before the time runs out. They cannot Vent and do not have skins. If they are wearing any hat, an additional animation will show them putting it on before the hiding countdown ends at the start of the game.
Among Us is a social deduction game where the rules are simple but insanely fun. Among a group of players with designated tasks, there are randomly chosen impostors whose goal is to either kill everyone onboard or successfully sabotage the area (i.e. deplete all oxygen, initiate a reactor core meltdown). Crewmates win the game by kicking out the impostor or finishing all tasks before they're able to kill them.
With the numbers game stacked against them, impostors have the hardest role in any Among Usgame. This makes impostors have certain player-input tells. Knowing what these tells are is important to winning games as crewmates. With that said, here are ten telltale signs of an impostor.
Updated on January 21, 2022 by Ritwik Mitra: The sheer popularity of Among Us is still mind-boggling to this day. The onset of the pandemic brought a ton of eyes towards this title, with players absolutely loving the social aspect of this game as they tried to accomplish their tasks as crewmates or murder everyone in sight as impostors. It can be hard to spot the latter in a playthrough due to how Among Us is set up, but players can use the following tips and tricks to identify and eject any impostors in their game.
Consequently, most impostors resort to stating false information and derailing the conversation into something completely aimless. If crewmates spot this suspicious behavior, then they should question and eject the odd one out.
If a crewmate walks against the direction of where a body is found, there's a high chance that that guy who walked away was the killer and didn't self-report. There's no reason for a crewmate to walk against the general direction of a dead body.
During discussions, crewmates share ideas and exchange facts in hopes of deducing who the impostor could be. While some impostors would influence the discussion in hopes of kicking out a clean crewmate, some just lie low as to not call attention to themselves.
This tip is very contextual. A tailing crewmate could either be a strong tell of an impostor, or a clean player wanting to do tasks together with someone. There's at least a 10% chance that a crewmate can kill you when approached. Impostors, on the other hand, have nothing to fear or be suspicious of. So, there's absolutely no risk walking into crewmates for him.
This information may not be useful given that people who see a crewmate walking towards them would be dead moments later. But, it does come in handy in some cases. If a crewmate briefly walks towards the direction of a cornered crewmate but walks away due to hesitation, then he's probably the impostor surveying his surroundings before a kill.
Clean crewmates have no reason to lie. That's the impostor's job. So, if someone cries out "he vented" but turns out he didn't, then the boy who cried vent is the impostor; an impostor trying to kill someone off without getting his hands dirty.
It doesn't apply to just venting though. If, for example, Cyan says he saw Brown kill Black through the security footage, then if Brown is ejected but wasn't the imposter, then Cyan is the actual impostor. So, as an impostor, these lies that claim hard truths can only be used once without raising clear-as-day suspicion and should be reserved when there are only three people left on board.
Among Us took the world by storm with its social-deduction mechanics and simplistic yet adorable art style. The name of the game is to kick the impostor off the ship. There's a much smaller chance that players get to play as impostors instead of crewmates, but once they're finally able to get the role, everything can seem a bit overwhelming. After all, not many people get to play as impostors, meaning that their experience as the villain can be quite tame, leading to these people making largely avoidable mistakes.
Updated on January 21, 2022 by Ritwik Mitra: Among Us is one of the most popular multiplayer games of all time. The game's premise is pretty simple, with a bunch of crewmates and impostors bunched up together in various space stations where players need to either complete tasks and fish out impostors or sabotage the ship and kill crewmates, depending on their affiliation. Playing as an impostor is especially entertaining in Among Us, but there are times when players might find themselves in a sticky situation. Thankfully, the following tips should go a long way in ensuring that aspiring impostors win the majority of their games with ease! 041b061a72
