Did Dems’ Hate Fuel Second Trump Assassination Try?

Updated: 2 days ago

Lantern #33 -- September 16, 2024

Déjà vu all over again!

Yet again, a would-be assassin has come dangerously close to targeting former President Donald Trump, marking the second such attempt in just two months.

We still don’t know much about the motive of the first shooter in July, and it’s likely we won’t know much about the second shooter for some time.

What we do know is that the Democrats with their dangerous and hate-filled rhetoric have gone out of their way to demonize, condemn and label Donald Trump as today’s Public Enemy Number One.

Here are just a few recent statements that suggest Democrat rhetoric is fueling these assassination attempts:

  • The alleged gunman in the most recent attempt, Ryan Wesley Routh, claimed on social media that Trump wants to “make Americans slaves against master,” and continually alluded to “Democracy being on the ballot” in November, a slogan used by President Biden and Vice President Harris.

  • Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, said Trump should be “eliminated” over his alleged role in the January 6, 2021 Capitol riot.

  • Earlier this summer, President Biden called Trump an “existential threat to democracy” while campaigning.

  • Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) declared Trump as “destructive to our Democracy and has to be eliminated.”

  • Political activist Noam Chomsky said he believed Trump was the “the worst criminal in human history.”

  • Countless House Democrats, including Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), have compared Donald Trump’s political rise to Hitler’s and a threat to the rule of law and fundamental freedoms.

It’s not far-fetched to consider how such outrageous rhetoric and outright lies have contributed to the toxic political environment of the 2024 race or against GOP figures in general, setting up a disturbing pattern – two attempts have been made on Trump’s life. An assassination attempt was thwarted against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and a shooting at the Congressional Baseball Game in 2017 nearly took the life of Rep. Steve Scalise.

If you believe that the Democrats’ words and actions are dangerous in fostering this kind of hostility and antagonism, please forward this email to family, friends, and others.

Big Media refuses to report on the above statements made against Trump and other conservative leaders as possible explanations for violence aimed at Republicans. Remember, it was Sen. Chuck Schumer who told rally goers that the Supreme Court “won’t know what hit” them if they voted to uphold abortion restrictions.

It’s a dangerous cycle. So, it’s up to each of us to get the word out. When the subject comes up, we can remind people of all the vile things the Democrats have said and continue to say.

Please contribute $10, $15, $25, or more today. FedUp PAC will make sure voters across the nation are educated about the Democrats’ dangerous rhetoric, and why it is critical we defeat such hate in November.

We can do just that with your support.

TESTIMONIALS ABOUT RICHARD A. VIGUERIE

“Take Richard Viguerie out of the equation of the modern political conservative movement and I truly believe there wouldn’t be a modern conservative political movement.”

- Brent Bozell

Media Research Center Founder

“There are very few people who can honestly say that they have changed the course of history.

Without him, Barry Goldwater would never have been nominated for president.

Without him, Ronald Reagan would never have served two terms in the White House.

Without him, Donald Trump would never have become president.

And without the communication tools that he pioneered; Donald Trump would have no shot at returning to the White House.

That man is Richard Viguerie.”

“Viguerie is the conservatives’ Voice of America…”
