After what appears to be a potentially inspired ISIS terrorist attack in New Orleans and a domestic terror attack with the Las Vegas Cybertruck bombing, every single national security nominee should be confirmed and ready to protect America by January 20th — the day Trump is sworn in for his second term.

Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio will promote “peace through strength” and defend American interests combating China and Russia’s threats against the United States and supporting our allies like Israel.
Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth, a 20-year veteran with two Bronze Stars and tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, will refocus the Department of Defense on its core mission of preparing for war and defending our nation.
CIA Director nominee John Ratcliffe served as Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and leader of the U.S. intelligence community. Formerly a congressman from Texas, Ratcliffe has extensive experience in national security, cyber security and will lead the CIA to counter the serious threats posed by China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.
Homeland Security Secretary nominee Kristi Noem will oversee U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Secret Service, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Noem will be critical in managing refugee issues from international conflicts.
Ambassador to Israel nominee Mike Huckabee, the former Governor of Arkansas is a staunch supporter of Israel, prompted by his evangelical faith. Huckabee has criticized the Biden administration’s calls for a cease-fire with Hamas but will work to bring peace to the middle east.
Director of National Intelligence nominee Tulsi Gabbard is a former Democratic congresswoman who will oversee the intelligence community and advise Trump and the National Security Council on intelligence matters. An Iraq War veteran and a U.S. Army reservist, Gabbard will champion Trump’s Peace through Strength agenda.
Ambassador to NATO nominee Matthew Whitaker is former Acting Attorney General. As ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Whitaker will be a strong warrior and loyal patriot, who will ensure the United States' interests are advanced and defended.
Ambassador to the United Nations nominee Elise Stefanik served as chairman of the House Republican Conference, the fourth-most powerful Republican in the House. Stefanik will work to overcome four years of catastrophically weak U.S. leadership which significantly diminished our national security and standing in the eyes of both allies and adversaries.
President Trump cannot get sworn in fast enough. It has never been more important to have a strong national security team in place than now.
