You and other patriotic Americans are needed to help put pressure on Congress as they move forward on Trump’s America First agenda.
First on the agenda is to make sure all Trump’s Cabinet nominees are confirmed by the Senate.
That means we’ll be doing double duty as we also focus on the House side where the House must pass a reconciliation budget bill that the Senate can get through with 50 plus one votes.
Some are advocating for two bills, claiming the first bill be passed to fund priority issues like defense, securing the border, and energy policies. A second bill would include extending Trump’s 2017 tax cuts helping the economy but would most likely get bogged down going forward.
The faster Congress gets to work on a comprehensive budget bill, the better it will be for the country, the economy, and ultimately helping conservatives make gains in the 2026 midterms.
Conservatives, key to Trump Agenda success
As this Conservative HQ article suggests, there are arguments for both solutions. But conservatives know that splitting the bill will also invite “wish list” add-on items into one or both of the bills. That is not what we voted for.
