Today’s video was taken in Beverly Hills, one of the more affluent cities in America and considered the premier shopping mecca in America, yet it is now lined, street after street, with boarded up shops, banks, and restaurants.
Democrat socialist economic policies, like the very policies Harris and Walz want to unleash on America, are the cause.
If this can happen in California how long will mom and pop stores and small to medium chain stores around the country survive under the socialist economic dictatorship of a Harris-Walz Administration?
With Harris in the White House, here’s what’s in store for America: vacant and boarded up retail space and thousands of Americans out of work in fear they will spend their retirement and life savings just to get by day to day.
Here are some of the policies that have destroyed California cities and may soon be coming to your town if we don’t urge family, friends, neighbors, and others to re-elect Donald Trump as President:
Energy
California’s “green energy” initiatives have resulted in skyrocketing energy prices ($5.00 to$7.00 a gallon for gas), rolling blackouts, and the need to import more energy from surrounding states than any other state in the nation. And gas prices are higher than any state in the union.
Corporate taxes
Businesses headquarters are fleeing the state almost every day now, including Fortune 500 companies like AT&T, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Exxon Mobil, and Chevron. This exodus has also caused more than a half-million residents in the past 4 years to leave the state.
Budget deficit
California is facing a $73 billion budget deficit. So, they’re raising taxes but increasing subsidies to the poor, illegals, prisons, environmental schemes, and teachers’ unions.
Crime
With police budgets being cut, more than 86% of business owners in California said that crime has increased in their area causing many to consider moving out of the state. “No valuables inside” notes are now left on cars as police no longer respond to car break-ins.
Shoplifting
Claiming it will relieve the strain on an already overburdened justice system, California raised the threshold for misdemeanor shoplifting theft from $500 to $950. California is extending an open invitation to anyone to walk in and steal.
Prisoner Release
Because of budgetary issues, California is now issuing shorter sentences for criminals, including violent offenders - and implementing early release of tens of thousands of felons onto the streets. Soft-on-crime George Soros-backed DAs are happy to help.
Housing
California’s economy of wealthy investors and low-wage migrants is squeezing out California’s middle-class. In just the last 18 months, housing prices have doubled in California. Many middle-class families are facing staggeringly high monthly mortgage or rent payments of $6,000 or more.
Unemployment
With the second highest unemployment rate of any state, California income growth grew only 0.7% in 2023.
$20 minimum wage
Trying to fix inflation by raising fast-food workers’ salaries has resulted in massive layoffs instead.
Excessive taxes
California ranks 48th worst in total taxes and 49th worst in income taxes.
Failing Schools
Despite having an education budget higher than most states’ annual budgets, only about 30 percent of California students test at proficient or advanced reading levels.
